One of my prime resolutions this year was to commit a worthy tribute to a universe which has incessantly accompanied me through the years, going as far back as memory permits.

I still remember encountering the world of ๐๐‹๐€๐ƒ๐„ ๐‘๐”๐๐๐„๐‘ for the very first time, watching it in the early 80's shortly after it came out on VHS.

That world haunts me to this day, largely due to ๐•๐€๐๐†๐„๐‹๐ˆ๐’' exquisite and moving score.

For the successive 40 years nothing has come close to its pristine perfection. Truly foundational and inspirational for my musical and artistic endeavors.

My quest in covering the ๐˜”๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜›๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ and the ๐˜Œ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜›๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด was to come as close as possible to the original work. Through tedious dissection โ€• peeling back layer after layer of sonic texture and watching / reading countless tutorials online, I have hopefully managed to capture at least an ounce of the spirit of the original work, also adding a personal touch to it โ€• albeit nominal.


A very ๐‡๐€๐๐๐˜ ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ๐ญ๐ก ๐€๐๐๐ˆ๐•๐„๐‘๐’๐€๐‘๐˜ to all ๐๐‹๐€๐ƒ๐„ ๐‘๐”๐๐๐„๐‘ fans worldwide.
